OIC moot: PDM reschedules it Long March for 25th

ISLAMABAD: Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the head of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), is making efforts to unite the anti-government coalition.

In this connection, Maulana Fazlur Rehman will meet PML-N Central Vice President Maryam Nawaz and Opposition Leader in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz today.

The PDM chief has also contacted Mahmood Achakzai and Akhtar Mengal. It may be recalled that the PPP has disagreed with other parties on the issue of resignations from the assemblies.

Due to PPP’s disagreement, the PDM has also postponed the anti-government march.

Announcing the postponement of the long march, Maulana Fazlur Rehman had said that the long march was not possible without resignations from the assemblies. All the PDM parties have given time to the PPP for a decision.
