Earlier in the day, the Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) had claimed that some of the sections of the National Accountability Ordinance, 1999 are against the Shariah
CII Chairman Dr Qibla Ayaz addressing a presser said that his council after a two-day meeting came to a conclusion that sections 15-A, 14-D and 26 are against the Shariah.
The CII chief said that it was an un-Islamic act to broadcast on media the handcuffing of suspects and video of the arrest.
