Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and Australian Special Representative on Afghanistan and Pakistan Ric Wells called on Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Syed Tariq Fatemi in Islamabad on Tuesday.
As per details, PM’s special assistant expressed satisfaction over positive trajectory of bilateral relation between both countries.
Fatmi stressed that trade and economic ties should be further strengthened to the mutual benefit of Pakistan and Australia.
The Special Assistant briefed the Australian Special Representative saying Pakistan has made sincere efforts for reconciliation towards Afghan-led and Afghan-owned peace process.
