KARACHI: A verbal war between the paramilitary force and Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) seems to have stirred up again, as Political party tried to destroy peace of Karachi by misguiding masses against Nine Zero raid, Rangers sources said.
According to sources, the spokesperson of the paramilitary force MQM misguided the masses regarding Rangers’ raids in recent days.
Rangers on March 11 raided the MQM’s headquarters in Karachi, confiscating a cache of arms and arresting several activists, including one convicted of murdering a journalist. A party activist was killed during Rangers raid.
Source said that the party was presenting wrong facts and figures of the raid which is creating confusion among media and the people.
On the other hand, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) said in the statement that the party hadn’t issued any statement over MQM headquarter raid and demanded to form a judicial commission over the raid.
