ISLAMABAD: Federal Investigation Agency has launched large scale investigations against Axact company for issuing fake degrees across the World. FIA sealed two Axact offices in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. FIA Corporate Crime Circle team arrested 22 employees of Axact.
FIA team took all computers and data in custody and sent it for forensic test. FIA arrested Axact executive committee members and sales department officials. FIA inquired Axact employees about the fake degrees. The team asked Axact to submit last 10 years transactions.
Security and Exchange Commission has also launched investigations against Axact. Chairman Senate Raza Rabbani has directed to submit report on Axact fake degrees scam within one month. National Assembly standing committee has also took notice of the scam.
