ISLAMABAD: PTI leader Faisal Vawda has resigned as a member of the National Assembly, his lawyer told the court on Wednesday.
During the hearing of Vawda’s disqualification case, his counsel told the Islamabad High Court that the PTI leader had resigned from the National Assembly.
The counsel argued that following the resignation from the parliament the disqualification plea against his client had become ineffective.
later, he submitted the resignation letter of Faisal Vawda to the court.
