Faisal Vawda moves SC challenging lifetime disqualification

LONDON: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Faisal Vawda on Monday met with officials from Scotland Yard.

He claimed to hand over important evidences about money laundering and hate-inciting speeches record of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Chief Altaf Hussain to Scotland Yard. He said that the meeting was quite positive.

The meeting which lasted for over two hours was also attended by officers of the counter terrorism command unit. This is the same unit which is investigating Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) related cases. He said that Altaf Hussain damaged the economy of Pakistan as well as British. Vawda said that he would request British Interior Ministry to cancel Altaf Hussain’s citizenship.
