Karachi: Faisal Edhi, the head of Edhi Foundation has recovered from coronavirus infection as his follow up test came positive on Wednesday.
Speaking to a local TV, Faisal said that he had recovered now.
He said that he had developed some symptoms of coronavirus before his initial test last month.
The Edhi Foundation chief had three tests since he developed symptoms of the virus infection.
Meanwhile, the follow up report of Jamaat-e-Islami MPA Syed Abdul Rasheed has come out negative for the coronavirus.
In a video message, the JI leader said that he had fully recovered from the infection.
He thanked all the JI leaders and workers, the chief minister, provincial assembly members and ministers, leaders and workers of all political parties, friends and well wishers who had prayed for his health.
However, he requested them to pray for the early recovery of his 18 family members who are also infected with the virus.
The JI MPA and his family members had contracted the coronavirus last month.
