Failure to control street crimes raises question mark on LEAs performance

KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Ameer Hafiz Naeem-Ur-Rehman has said that failure to control armed robberies, looting and street crimes in the city is a matter of concern and a question mark on the performance of the Sindh government, police department and law enforcement agencies.

Hafiz Naeem-Ur-Rehman said that instead of decreasing the incidents are increasing but criminal elements are breaking into the houses and carrying out operations.

It is very unfortunate that the incidents of killing of civilians during armed robberies are also increasing, he added.

He said that Jamaat-e-Islami will hold protests outside more than 40 police stations in the city on Sunday, March 6 against this serious situation and incidents of looting and murder and for the protection of the people.

Hafiz Naeem further said that if the situation in the city does not improve then the scope of protest will be further expanded and protests will be staged outside all police stations, SSP and DIG offices and IG office in Karachi.
