KARACHI: In a surprise move, Facebook blocked the Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi’s official and other accounts related to the admins of the page.
A spokesman for the party said that the pages had been removed without issuing any warning or notice by the administration of the one of the world’s largest social media platform.
He was of the view that the Indian lobby associated with the Facebook was involved in the removal of the official pages.
He further said that the move came ahead of the Jamaat-e-Islami’s planned Kashmir March to be held on Dec 22 in Islamabad.
