Former President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari said F-16s matter is a clear indication of the distance between Pakistan and the US.
Giving his views of recent fighter jet matter between both countries, he said US should have to think beyond fulfilling Pakistan’s security requirements.
He further said for last 15-years relation between Pakistan and US is badly affected which was strengthen in the region after Russia threat.
Pakistan in recent years has emerged as a strong democratic nation, he said. Peace and development led the country to strengthen its democracy, he added. So US should have to support democratic Pakistan.
Pakistan Peoples’ Party’s (PPP) co-chairman said that Pakistan is still facing threats from terror groups, so US should have to think beyond fulfilling Pakistan’s security requirements.
