ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said on Saturday that all the political parties would be taken on board before making legislation on the extension of the COAS.
She stated this while addressing the media persons here.
Dr Firdous termed the issue of extension in the tenure of Gen Bajwa as of national interest.
The PM has already formed a committee to contact the opposition leaders for developing consensus over the issue, she said.
