HYDERABAD: Advisor to Sindh Chief Minister on Information Maula Bux Chandio has expressed hope that provincial government would grant extension in Rangers’ policing powers in Karachi till Monday.
Talking to media he said a constitutional requirement needs to be fulfilled in granting extension and for that matter the issue is being taken in Sindh Assembly.
Chandio said provincial government has full confidence on Pakistan army, adding that ongoing operation in Karachi against criminal elements would continue.
“The target operation in Karachi would continue till elimination of last terrorist,” he said.
To a question, Chandio said the PPP government in Sindh would complete its five-year term.
