ANKARA: Explosion rocks south-eastern Turkish city of Diyarbakir on Thursday.

A huge explosion has hit outside a bus station in the city of Diyarbakır in southeast Turkey, witnesses say.

The incident happened at around 5 p.m. local time on Thursday when a large explosion hit an area just outside a bus station in the city. Several vehicles, including a bus, were damaged.

A large number of ambulances are at the scene, and Turkish TV reported that at least 7 people had been hurt.
