Karachi: Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi on Friday said that an excellent relief network of Jamaat-e-Islami and Al Khidmat is working across the country.
Afridi stated this while talking to media after a visit to Bahadurabad Club and Al Khidmat Mega Ration Centre alongwith JI’s Karachi Ameer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman here.
He appreciated the JI and Al Khidmat for distributing ration among deserving people.
He said that we should work like nation in this difficult time.
This is a beauty of Pakistan that its citizens work irrespective of colour and cast in the name of humanity, the former cricketer said.
He offered to work voluntarily with any advertisement firm against ration bags, which he said would be distributed among deserving people.
He urged the masses to extend support to Al Khidmat in this difficult time.
Speaking on the occasion, the JI Karachi Ameer welcomed Shahid Afridi.
He said that Afridi had worked with various projects of JI and Al Khidmat.
