ISLAMABAD: An accountability court has sent ex-PM and PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and former finance minister Miftah Ismail on judicial remand to jail here on Thursday.
Earlier, the court had rejected the National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) plea seeking an extension in the physical remand of both the accused in the liquefied natural gas (LNG) case.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, during the hearing, submitted a written statement to the court.
Later, the court adjourned the hearing till October 11.
