The elder brother of former Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Senator (retd) Mushtaq Ahmed Khan was shot dead in front of his house in Swabi.
According to police, Shakeel Ahmed Khan was shot dead in front of his house in Village Ahad Khan Kale Sheikh Jana of Swabi.
DPO Swabi Mohammad Azhar said that Shakeel Ahmed Khan was killed in the firing of his neighbor, who first killed his father. Shakeel Khan went to settle the issue between the father and the son.
According to DPO Swabi, Shakeel Khan was the target of firing during the rescue efforts.
DPO Swabi said that the accused is allegedly a drug addict and his mental balance is also not completely correct.
In a statement issued on social media, former senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan expressed deep grief and sorrow and said that elder brother Shakeel Ahmed Khan was martyred in front of his house in the village.
Mushtaq Ahmed Khan said that the elder brother was very dear to him and he was like his hands.
People from different walks of life have expressed grief and sorrow over the murder of Mushtaq Ahmed Khan’s brother.
