KABUL: Former Afghan prime minister and Hizb-e-Islami chief Gulbuddin Hekmatyar has said that even if we form a government together, the United States and its allies would not accept the Afghan government.
Talking to Pakistani journalists in Kabul, Gulbuddin Hekmatyar said that there would be consultations for the formation of the government after August 31. The council was formed to discuss the formation of a new government with the Taliban.
The council suggested to form an interim government and under the same advice interim heads of institutions are being appointed.
“We want the Taliban government to continue, we suggest that the Afghan people work together to form a new government,” he said.
