ISTANBUL: The Turkish president on Monday termed the Trump’s Middle East plan as an occupational scheme and not a peace plan.

Speaking at a presser here, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the Middle East plan was full of deception. He added that the Trump’s offer was far from being a peace plan.

Erdogan said that he had already declared it an occupational plan.

Last week, The Turkish President had strongly rejected  Donald Trump’s so-called “Deal of the Century” peace plan.

Speaking at the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) meeting, the president had said: “We will never recognise or accept the US president’s Middle East plan”.
