ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Marriyum Aurangzeb Monday said the entire nation stood with the valiant armed forces and saluted their sacrifices for the defence of the motherland.
Talking to a satellite TV channel after martyrdom of seven Pakistani Army personnel in Indian firing, the minister said no comprise would be made on the defence of the country.
She strongly condemned unprovoked Indian firing across the Line of Control (LoC), saying Pakistan was a peace loving country but it should not be considered as its weakness.
The Pakistan Army had given a befitting response to the Indian firing, she said.
She said a befitting response was being given to India at all levels.
To a question, she said Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had been holding consultations to make a strategy for raising the issue of Indian aggression at the international level.
