ABU DHABI: England captain Eoin Morgan on Monday said moral of the team was high after the excellent performance against Pakistan in the second One Day International and said that the best was yet to come.

England dominated for most part of the 100 overs to inflict a 95-run defeat on Pakistan in the second of the Abu Dhabi double-header at the Zayed Cricket Stadium on Friday night.

The third one day cricket international of four match series between Pakistan and England will be played in Sharjah on Tuesday.

The series is leveled by 1-1.

‘It was an excellent performance. We learnt from our previous experience and put that in tonight,’ Morgan said.

‘We are always looking to strive for improvement. I don’t think this was our best performance we’ve seen yet,’ he added.

The England top three fired with Hales’ opening partner Jason Roy as well as one-down Joe Root too notching half-centuries.

And Morgan said that the batting was their strongest unit.
