England has announced the Test squad for the upcoming series against Pakistan in United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Both teams will play three Test matches starting from October 13.
Alex Hales, Zafar Ansari and James Taylor have been named in England’s 16-man squad for the Test series.
Hales replaces the discarded Adam Lyth as the seventh opening batsman to be selected since Andrew Strauss’ retirement in 2012 although it is not a certainty that he will walk out alongside Alastair Cook in Abu Dhabi on October 13.
