KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi chief Engr. Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has said that a principle based industrial revolution is essential for the development of the country and to take full advantage of the young engineers.
He expressed these views on Monday, while addressing a reception in his honour held by the Pakistan Engineers Forum in connection with the upcoming elections of the council.
Engr. Naeem said that more than 12,000 fresh engineers get degree each year but unfortunately a larger chunk of them face the menace of unemployment. He said that the situation is alarming for the ruling class of the government.
The role of engineers is very important in the development of a country, he said adding that Pakistan’s development is also dependent on the abilities of engineers.
He urged the government to ensure establishment and enhancement of industries. The JI leaders asked the participants of the program to work hard for the success of their coalition panel.
Engr. Azizuddin Zafar thanked participants of the program and asked them to cast their vote and also convince others to do the same on August, 30 during the elections of Pakistan Engineers Council.
