QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan, Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri Tuesday said timid enemies could not deter him from hoisting Pakistan’s National Flag.
He said Balochistan Police would be trained and equipped on modren lines in line with the vision of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
He was addressing a ceremony held in connection with 84th Passing Out Parade of Balochistan Police held at Police Training College in the provincial capital herey.
Provincial Ministers, Chief Secretary Balochistan, IG FC and senior officials were also present.
He said, “Terrorists attacked me and killed my son, brother and nephew but I am not afraid of them,” he said and added they could scare him in any way.
He said that it is pride for people of Balochistan that their police had bravely been facing challenges of terrorism and militancy.
“Balochistan police have successfully tackled heinous crimes including targeted killing, kidnapping for ransom, bomb blast, terrorism and militancy,” he added.
The Chief Minister said “Army, Frontier Corps, Police and Levies Force are our forces and we stand united to defeat terrorism and militancy.”
He said that Balochistan has been facing challenges pertaining to law and order as terrorists had been targeting and attacking official and civilians alike.
“I warn terrorists that they would be brought to justice at any cost,” he added.
He said that both federal and provincial government had been extending their full cooperation to equip Balochistan Police with modern weapons and vehicles to face challenges.
He announced funds for Police Training College which would be used for construction of hostel and boundary walls.
He also congratulated Commandant Police Training College for successful training of police recruits.
