Islamabad: The government has decided to reopen educational institutions from September 15.
Addressing a presser here, Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood said that the government had decided to reopen educational institutions across the country fron Sept 15.
However, he said that the decision would be reviewed during the first and third weeks of August.
He said that the standard operating procedures SOPs would be revisited.
The education minister said the universities can call Ph.d students before Sept 15.
He added that the educational institutions should strictly follow the SOPs.
Mahmood requested the provinces to forward recommendations on the SOPs.
He said the education had suffered alot due to the coronavirus pandemic.
