ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has decided to scrutinise parliamentarians’ assets from Dec 1.
The decision was made during an open hearing on Monday.
It was mentioned that although parliamentarians filed details of their assets, these details would not be verified, officials said during the hearing.
The Political Finance Wing of the ECP will initiate a probe under Additional Secretary ECP Fida Mohammad.
