ECP takes back notice to summon Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) here on Tuesday took back notice issued to Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan to appear before the commission on May 25 for violating election code of conduct.

According to ECP, the notice was took back following Imran Khan canceled his address to the public gathering.

Earlier ECP issued notices to Imran Khan, Mushtaq Ghani and Habibur Rehman for violating election code of conduct following the announcement of schedule for Local Body elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.  Following the ECP notice Imran Khan canceled his programme to address public gathering in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
