Islamabad: The Election Commission suspended the membership of 154 members of the National and Provincial Assemblies, including Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry and Ali Zaidi, for not submitting details of assets.
The list released by the Election Commission includes a total of 154 members of the National and Provincial Assemblies.
The ECP suspended the membership of three senators, 48 members of the National Assembly, 52 members of the Punjab Assembly, 19 members of the Sindh Assembly, 26 members of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly and six members of the Balochistan Assembly.
The Election Commission also suspended the membership of Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry, Ali Zaidi and Dr Fehmida Mirza.
The ECP also suspended the membership of National Assembly members Mohsin Dawar, Ali Nawaz Awan, Mehnaz Akbar Aziz, Rohail Asghar, Amir Liaquat Hussain, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Maiza Hameed, Shandana Gulzar and Shaza Atma.
The ECP also suspended the membership of Punjab Assembly members Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Hamid Yar Hiraj, Hashim Dogar and Sardar Owais Leghari.
The ECP also suspended the membership of Sindh Assembly member Timur Talpur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly member Kamran Khan Bangash and Balochistan Assembly member Sardar Muhammad Rind.
