ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan has issued notice to Prime Minister Imran Khan for holding a rally in Mansehra.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has been summoned to the office of District Monitoring Officer Mansehra on March 28 for clarification.

Besides, notices have also been issued to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan, Speaker Provincial Assembly Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail, Railway Minister Azam Swati, Senator Faisal Javed and others.
The Election Commission has summoned all the leaders on March 28 for clarification.
Yesterday, ameeting of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) political committee and legal team was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan in which the political situation in the country, contacts with allied parties and members were reviewed.
According to sources, the legal team also met Prime Minister Imran Khan in which the Prime Minister was briefed on the hearing on the presidential reference in the Supreme Court.
According to sources, the government has prepared a strategy for the National Assembly session. Speaking at the meeting, PM Imran Khan said, “We will fight this mafia till the end. The no-confidence motion will not succeed. It is their misunderstanding that I will come under pressure. On March 27, the people will tell who they are.”
In addition, the strategy for the PTI meeting on March 27 has been prepared in the meeting of the PTI political committee.
According to sources, the senior leadership of the party will lead the rallies from their areas, while Hamad Azhar will lead the rallies from Lahore and Pervez Khattak from Peshawar.
According to PTI sources, Sheikh Rashid and Amir Kayani will lead the rally from Rawalpindi.
