ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan in its meeting in Islamabad on Tuesday, reviewed arrangements with regard to conduct of Local Government Elections in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).
The meeting was chaired by Chief Election Commissioner retired Mr. Justice Sardar Muhammad Raza Khan. The CEC said it is duty of the Commission to conduct Local Government Elections in ICT in a free, fair and transparent manner.
The District Returning Officer briefed the meeting about the structure of Local Government in ICT, printing of ballot papers and other arrangements so far made in this regard.
