KARACHI: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP)on Saturday refused to use bio-metric system in NA-246 by-election citing technical reasons and lack of time.
It is also pertinent to mention here that secretary ECP Baber Fatah Yaqoob on Saturday (today) morning paid sudden visit to by-poll constituency and review arrangements for the election scheduled on April 23, 2015.
The secretary ECP, who reached here on Friday, will also preside a meeting regarding holding up of by-election in the city Saturday (today).
He will also hold meeting with Director General (DG) Sindh Rangers Bilal Akbar and Chief Secretary Sindh Siddique Memon in his visit regarding security and other arrangements for the by-election.
