ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has postponed the by polls on 4,491 vacant seats of Local Government (LG) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa till Jan 28, after a terrorist attack on Bacha Khan University in Charsadda.
The Elections were scheduled to be held on Jan 23 but now after the incident ECP decided to hold it on Jan 28, said an ECP official while talking to APP on Thursday.
The KPK government had announced a three-day mourning in the province to express solidarity with the victims following the Wednesday’s tragedy.
