KARACHI: Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan has taken notice of the fire that has killed five people including four children.
He has demanded investigation report on the fire from commissioner Karachi and administrator Karachi Metropolitan Corporation that engulfed 40 huts in Gulisan-e-Johar on Thursday.
A fire department official told Jasarat Website that the fire was doused off with the help of two fire tenders in an hour.
The fire is reported to have erupted because of a gas cylinder used for cooking food.
The killed and injured have been shifted to Jinnah Post-graduate Medical Center for medico-lego formalities and medical treatment respectively.
