At least 230 people lost their lives while 1,629 people sustained injured when a powerful quake of 7.5 magnitude hit Pakistan cities on 26th October, NDMA reported.
According to latest update by National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), one thousand six hundred and twenty-nine people have been injured in the quake.
Two thousand five hundred and thirty-six houses have been damaged in the quake.
Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif expressing grief and sorrow over the losses of precious lives in the earthquake said that he would personally visit the affected areas and monitor relief activities.
Talking to media, he said every possible assistance would be provided to the affected people.
The Prime Minister thanked his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi for calling him and offering assistance for the victims of the earthquake.
Minister for States and Frontier Regions Lt General Retired Abdul Qadir Baloch has said the government stands with the families affected by the earthquake and assured them full support.
In a statement, he said his ministry was taking special relief initiatives for the earthquake-affected people.
