ISLAMABAD: Dust-thunderstorm/rain is expected at scattered places in upper region of the country in next 24 hours however, hot and dry weather to continue in other parts of the country.
Rainfall with gusty winds has been forecast in Rawalpindi, Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat divisions, Islamabad, upper parts of FATA, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Weak seasonal low lies over North Balochistan was recorded. A shallow trough of westerly wave is affecting Northern parts and its adjoining areas, an official of Met office told APP.
Weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country during the last 24 hours. However, rain-thunderstorm occurred at isolated places in Mirpurkhas division.
Rainfall was recorded during the last 24 hours in various parts of Sindh includig Mithi 62mm,Islamkot 24mm and Chachro 21mm.
The highest temperature recorded on Tuesday remained Lasbella 43øC, Turbat 42øC, Chhor, Sibbi, Sukkur, Noorpur Thal 41øC, Multan 39øC, Hyderabad 39øC, Faisalabad 38øC, Lahore 37øC, Karachi 37øC, Islamabad 36øC, Peshawar 36øC, Hunza 35øC, Muzaffarabad 34øC, Dir 34øC, Chitral 33øC, Quetta 32øC, Gilgit 31øC, Kalat 29øC, Skardu 28øC and Murree 24øC.
