KARACHI: A strong dust storm has lashed the entire city here on Wednesday evening, killing at least four people and injuring 18 in different incidents.
According to the Met Office, western winds were passing through the country. It forecasts rain with thunderstorm in the city.
Thunderstorm cells has developed in the southern part of Karachi, it said.
The Met Office further said that the dust carrying winds were blowing at a speed of 54-74 kilometers per hour in the city.
It added that the storm would last for at least one hour in the city.
Electricity supply went off in several parts of the city as soon as the storm started.
