KARACHI: Three high ranking police officers were suspended by Inspector General Police Sindh over the murder of Deputy Superintendant Police SITE Majeed Abbas.
According to media reports, DSP, S.H.O and SIO of Quaidabad police station were removed from their posts with the apparent reason being negligence in performing their duties.
It must be noted that at least three DSPs have been killed in last two months in Karachi with the latest being DSP Majeed Abbas who was killed on Tuesday (yesterday) when armed assailants opened fire on a police van in Shah Latif Town area of the city.
