Thick fog has blanketed Islamabad, plain areas of Punjab, Upper Sindh and Peshawar division.
According to the Met Office fog conditions will continue during morning and night hours for the next few.
Flight operation has badly affected due to foggy conditions as at least eight flights canceled while 35 suspended at Islamabad airport.
Meanwhile, mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country today.
Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning: Islamabad three degrees centigrade, Lahore six, Karachi sixteen, Peshawar five, Quetta minus three, Gilgit minus four, Murree one and Muzaffarabad two degrees centigrade.
