ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted dry weather in most parts of the country with foggy condition in plain areas in the morning hours.
According to PMD, dry but cold weather will persist across the country during next 24 hours and during this time light foggy conditions would continue over plain areas of Punjab, Peshawar and Sukkur divisions during morning hours.
During last 24 hours, weather remained cold and dry in most parts of the country. However, rain (snowfall over the hills) occurred at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara divisions and Kashmir. Rain recorded in Malamjabba 24mm, Abbottabad, Rawalakot 04mm, Faisalabad, Garhi Duppata, Kalam 02mm and Saidu Sharif and Muree 01mm. One inch snowfall was recorded in Kalam and Murree during this time.
Lower temperatures recorded during last 24-hour were Kalat, Kalam -12°C, Astore -11°C, Skardu -10°C, Parachinar, Rawalakot -08°C, Gupis -07°C, Dir, Dalbandin, Quetta -06°C, Malam Jabba, Muree -05°C, Abbotabad -04°C and Gilgit -03°C.
