Islamabad: Special Assistant to PM Dr Zafar Mirza on Sunday warned masses against using a specific medicine being circulated on social media for prevention of coronavirus.

The special assistant took to Twitter and said: “Some local Drs are recommending use of specific medicines for prevention of #COVIDー19. Not right! Here is what WHO says, “there is no evidence that current medicine can prevent or cure the disease.”
Quoting the World Health Organisation, he said that there is no evidence that the specific medicine can prevent or cure COVID-19.
