KARACHI: A Police investigation team for Professor Dr Wahidur Rehman murder case on Wednesday visited Department of Mass Communication in University of Karachi and took computer of deceased professor into its procession.
Sources said that the investigation team visited the department and also took details of deceased professor from others teachers of the department.
The University administration said that the investigation team has called for record of ten students of the department.
According to the investigation team, they have asked for the record of the ten students because they all have same addresses on the university admission form.
The administration further said that fulfilling the teachers security demand in the department two rangers personnel have been deployed in the department.
The team consisted of Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Investigation Central Zone Arib Mehar, Deputy Superintendent Police (DSP) Azizabad Aijazuddin, Station Housing Officer (SHO) Yousuf Plaza Akram Arain and investigation officer Niaz Qureshi.
Dr Wahidur Rehman was shot dead by unknown attackers on motorcycles near his residence in Federal B Area last week.
