Islamabad : Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has been removed as the Special Assistant to the PM on Information here on Monday.
She was replaced with Lt Gen (R) Asim Saleem Bajwa while Senator Shibli Faraz has been made Minister for Information.
Bajwa has been serving as chairman of the CPEC Authority. Also he had served as former ISPR spokesman and a commander of the Southern Command.
