KARACHI: An accountability court has extended remand for seven days of former petroleum minister Dr. Asim Hussain, who is facing corruption charges.
National Accountability Bureau (NAB) official presented Dr. Asim before the court amid tight security after his seven-day physical remand ended today.
The NAB prosecutor and investigation officer requested the court to grant extension in Dr. Asim’s remand for further interrogation.
The court extended remand of the former petroleum minister for seven days, directing the NAB officials to present him before the court on December 23.
