The Accountability Court on Monday extended the physical remand of of former federal minister Dr Asim Hussain to 10 days.
As per details, the advocate of NAB has presented the MRI report of Dr. Asim. “In his report he is medically fit and injuries on his legs are not serious,” the advocate told the court.
On the other hand the defence lawyer argues that 14 days were not enough to complete the remaining 20 percent investigation.
“The NAB is extending the case without any reason,” he argued.
After hearing the arguments, the court ordered that if a doctor advises to admit Dr. Asim in a hospital then he should be admitted immediately.
