KARACHI: In an important move, the Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) on Monday detected the money transferred to foreign country by the former federal minister for petroleum Dr Asim Hussain and his family.
Pakistan People’s Party co-chairman and former president Asif Zardari’s right-hand man Dr Asim Hussain and his family had transferred Rs 2 billion to foreign countries including Dubai, America and Britain through fake account.
The family purchased property in Dubai through the money transferred and also paid 50,000 dirham to a hospital in Dubai.
