Dr Asim discharged from hospital, still under Rangers custody

A prominent Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader, Dr Asim Hussain has been discharged from the National Institute of Cardio Vascular Diseases (INCVD) on Monday.

According to reports, Rangers personnel once again took him under their custody after discharging from Hospital.

The medical board declared that Dr Hussain was not suffering from any heart problems and might check out from the hospital.

Hussain, who remained under treatment for a week, was no longer suffering from stomach acidity and his health condition was gradually improving.

Dr Hussain’s health deteriorated after he was handed over to the paramilitary Rangers on a 90-day physical remand by an anti-terrorism court.
