The hearing of Dr. Asim Hussain’s case for providing shelter and treating terrorists at his hospital was held at the Anti-Terrorism Court in Karachi today.
During the hearing, the Investigation Officer submitted a report about arrest of the other accused in the case according to which one accused of the case Usman Moazzam has been arrested while Rauf Siddiqui is on pre-arrest bail. Two of the accused are out of country and cannot be arrested.
The court once again issued non-bailable arrest warrants of four other accused of the case including Waseem Akhtar, Anees Qaimkhani, Qadir Patel and Saleem Shahzad.
The Court asked to provide medical facilities to Dr. Asim and adjourned the hearing till 19th of this month.
Meanwhile, MQM leader Waseem Akhtar has been granted interim bail by the session court in Karachi today in this case.
