NEW YORK: US stocks pushed to new records Thursday, lifted by JPMorgan Chase’s strong earnings and hopes for more stimulus from central banks.
At the market close, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 0.7 percent at 18,504.15, its third straight all-time high.
The S&P 500 extended its record streak to a fourth day, advancing 0.5 percent to 2,163.53. The tech-rich Nasdaq rose 0.5 percent to 5,033.86.
