RISALPUR: Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Zakaullah on Wednesday said Pakistan possesses full ability of befitting reply to any aggression by enemy.
‘Pakistan is a peaceful country which wishes to have pleasant relationship with its neighbours. Our desire for peace should not be taken as weakness. Pakistan armed forces are fully geared-up for giving a befitting reply to any aggression,’ he said while addressing as a chief guest of passing out parade of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) cadets in Risalpur.
He said PAF was fighting side by side with Pakistan Army in Zarb-e-Azb Operation. He congratulated the passing out cadets and said their confidence would boost after training.
The Naval Chief said any attempt to browbeat Pakistan would neither succeed nor serve the purpose of peace and prosperity in the region.
Zakaullah said in the current security scenario certain extremist elements abetted externally are out to disrupt our peace and harmony. He said our defence forces supported by the nation are fighting the menace bravely and effectively.
