A latest study has revealed that taking aspirin can lessen the adverse effects of air pollution on your body.

During the study, published in the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine,  researchers from Harvard, Boston and Columbia universities examined lungs of more than 2,000 participants and anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) effects on them.

The study “Nonsteroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs Modify the Effect of Short-Term Air Pollution on Lung Function” found that after using aspirin the side effects of pollution on a lung were reduced by 50 per cent.
